* Research Grants for Doctoral Candidates and Young Academics and
Scientists: Support for research projects to be conducted at a
German university of research institution (one to ten months).
Also support for the participation in a full doctoral programme in
Germany (up to three years).
* Research Stays for University Academics and Scientists /
Re-invitation Programme for Former Scholarship Holders: Support
for research projects to be conducted at a German university of
research institution (one to three months). This offer mainly
addresses experienced researchers. Former DAAD scholarship holders
can apply for a re-invitation to Germany (also one to three months).
* DAAD/Roche Diagnostics Postdoctoral Programme: The DAAD and “Roche
Diagnostics” is offering scholarships for advanced research
placements at one of Europe’s leading Biotechnology centres in
Penzberg, near Munich or in Mannheim (12 to 24 months).
Applications are accepted at any time of the year.
* *Study Visits / Study Seminars and Internships in Germany by
Foreign Students: Support for short visits in Germany with a
group of students, application must be handed in by a University
teacher. Three application deadlines per year.*
